The Challenge

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust wanted to work on an extensive culture, leadership and inclusion project — one that would create meaningful, lasting change across the organisation rather than a one-off intervention.

What WonderIf Delivered

Susie Edwards worked as one of the subject matter experts on the Our Future Our Way programme — a major, multi-strand culture change initiative for the Trust.

The Work Included :-

- Supporting board development and culture change analysis at the most senior level of the organisation.

- Training 90 change leaders — delivered both virtually and in person — equipping them with the skills and confidence to lead culture change across the Trust.

- Facilitating 2 large-scale synthesis days — bringing together leaders and practitioners to consolidate learning and build shared direction.

- Designing and delivering 'Living Our Behaviour' webinars to over 500 members of staff — creating accessible, meaningful engagement with the Trust's values and culture ambitions.

- Trained LPT staff through Train the Train to continue this initiative themselves, enabling a rollout to 6,000 members of staff embedding sustainable change rather than dependency on external support.

The Impact

The programme was shortlisted for the HSJ Awards — one of the most prestigious recognition schemes in the NHS.

The success of Our Future Our Way led to a Case Study for NHS Employers, sharing the learning with the wider health sector.
