Leadership Development Programmes

Space to think. Space to lead. Space to become.

Our leadership programmes are designed for people who want to lead with intention in complex, real-world environments. They create room to pause, reflect and challenge how leadership is showing up in practice, individually and collectively.

Blending practical tools, lived experience and honest conversation, each programme is shaped around your context, your people and what truly matters. The result is learning that sticks and connections that last.

WonderIf designs every programme around your organisation's specific context, culture and challenges. No off-the-shelf content. No generic frameworks. Just leadership development that actually fits with your needs.

Executive Director and Senior Leader Away Days

Time to pause. Time to connect. Time to realign.

Our Executive and Senior Leader Away Days are designed as powerful moments out of the everyday. A chance to step back from operational demands and into more strategic, honest and generative conversations.

These are not traditional away days. They are carefully crafted experiences that create the conditions for clarity, alignment and momentum. A setting where senior leaders can think together, surface what matters most and navigate complexity with greater coherence and intention.

Blending facilitation, systems thinking and real-world insight, each session is shaped around your context and your ambitions. We work with you to design something that is both stretching and supportive, creating room for challenge, reflection and meaningful dialogue.

The result is renewed energy, stronger connection and a clearer path forward, individually and collectively.

Masterclasses and Webinars

A spark. A shift. A different way in.

Our masterclasses and webinars are designed as powerful accelerators, short, focused experiences that cut through noise and get straight to what matters.

They bring fresh thinking, practical insight and real-world relevance into sharp focus, creating immediate shifts in perspective and approach. Whether it’s a 60-minute webinar or a half-day masterclass, the emphasis is on energy, interaction and application.

These sessions are crafted to ignite ideas, build confidence and equip people with tools they can use embed into their practice immediately. All programmes and workshops are available online via video call as well as in person. Virtual workshops are tailored to your team's needs and can be delivered to teams across multiple locations simultaneously.

Creation of Leadership Learning Content

Learn deeply. Apply Confidently. Lead Effectively

When the opportunity has arisen, I love creating thoughtful, engaging e-learning experiences that bring leadership and development to life. This has involved 20 e-learning modules being produced for the BMA and bespoke modules for NHS Trusts.

In collaboration with Kew Gardens, I co-designed with their fantastic team, the concept and learning content for the Young Environmental Leader Award, that is designed to support young people to develop the confidence and capability to lead on environmental issues. Since its launch 100’s of participants have achieved the award.

This work reflects an approach of combining strong design thinking, meaningful content and real-world application to create learning that resonates and endures. The co-curation and collaboration is central to the success of this project.

Thank you for all your work in helping us set up this award.

Why curiosity is the most underrated leadership skill

The best leaders I work with share one quality above all others and it rarely appears on a competency framework. Curiosity changes how leaders listen, how teams perform, and how organisations adapt. It is also something that can be developed. Read more →

Leading through complexity what healthcare teams need now

NHS and healthcare leaders are navigating pressure that is unprecedented in scale and relentlessness. The leadership development that makes a difference in this context is not about frameworks. It is about space, honesty, and building the collective capacity to think clearly when things are hard. Read more →

What makes leadership development actually stick?

Most organisations invest in leadership development. What is important is to think about how the learning sticks beyond the programme or away day. The gap is rarely about the content it is about how learning is designed, connected to real challenges, and sustained beyond the room. Read more →

It has been a pleasure to work alongside Susie.  A true professional with lots of energy and passion for her area of expertise, which has always translated into an excellent service provision to the leadership of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.  Susie always takes time to understand the dynamics and current culture of our organisation before designing an intervention and never fails to receive anything but excellent feedback.  Our working relationship is outstanding, as Susie is able to quickly get into rapport and build relationships that shine through in her work, as she quickly moves from consultation to end product.  I look forward to many more years of working with Susie.

— Jackie Mann, Organisational Development Specialist Practitioner

Susie, since your training there has been a significant change to two of our senior nurses. One of them has started to communicate more effectively, is pro-active with our new nurses and student nurses, and has started to deliver very positive feedback to her colleagues. The other person for whom the difference has been most noticeable is someone who three months ago was being performance managed. She is positive, pro-active, checks on her team frequently, has started to demonstrate clear leadership when she is in charge and has a new found confidence. She has started to take lead in an area that she is interested in.

I honestly believe that the difference for both of those nurses has been the session that you ran. The content clearly spoke to them both and one of them particularly said ”I had forgotten why I had become a nurse and now I am going to find my love for it again”. Thank you so very much for you passion and clear brilliance in what you do.
